Visit Mercat de la Boqueria (market) for a more local shopping experience or walk down to the harbour and take the lift to the shipyards.
In the heart of old Barcelona is the Barri Gotic, an area of medieval Gothic buildings set in a labyrinth of streets. Head to the Carrer de Montcada, where the Picasso Museum is located and of course, don’t miss the awe inspiring Gaudi architecture including La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell and Casa Batllo.
